We are working closely with several schools in Derby and the surrounding areas to recruit a Business Manager to work on a temporary, ongoing basis with the potential for a permanent opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience working as a School Business Manager or in a senior finance-related position within education. They will be driven and ambitious, with a passion for aiding schools in achieving outstanding status.
Key Responsibilities:- Attend Senior Management/Leadership Team, full Governing Body, and appropriate Governors' sub-committee meetings.
- Negotiate and influence strategic decision-making within the school's Senior Management/Leadership Team.
- In the absence of the Head Teacher, take delegated responsibility for Financial and other decisions.
- Plan and manage change in accordance with the school development/strategic plan.
- Lead and manage all school support staff.
Please note that applicants must have experience in school administration and a DBS on the update service, or be willing to pay £47.20 for a new one to be processed.
