Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our Group Security Operations Centre team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for remotely supporting colleagues and third parties with CCTV data requests, assisting in the resolution of technical issues with intruder alarms and CCTV systems, as well as supporting colleagues within our Group Security Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing CCTV data requests and ensuring GDPR compliance.
  • Taking and making phone calls from attending engineers, branch colleagues, and other members of the Group.
  • General CCTV and Intruder Alarm maintenance.
  • Liaising with keyholding contractors to ensure keys are held by responding Security Officers.
  • Managing False Alarms from CCTV and Intruder Alarm systems.
  • Supporting the members of our in-house Technical Team.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with colleagues, engineers, and contractors.
  • The ability to work under pressure.
  • Good PC literacy skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to document and maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with GDPR compliance.

Training will be provided to the successful applicant, however, experience in a similar technical and administrative support role, knowledge of intruder alarm and CCTV systems and knowledge of Google Workspace products are desirable traits.

This is a full-time role, offering 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 10:00-18:00).

The successful candidate will be based in our Northampton-based office and will work closely with other members of our security team.

Due to the requirement of this role to be carried out in our Northampton-based office, our Group Security team reserves the right to take location and travel arrangements into account when reviewing applications for this position.
