Glasdon Ltd is seeking a Total Quality Manager to join our team. As a Total Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading our QA team in implementing Total Quality Management initiatives and strategies throughout the supply chain.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with environmental and health & safety regulations, conducting quality inspections and audits, and analysing product quality data. They will also investigate defects and drive corrective actions, collaborate with stakeholders, maintain technical files and quality records, and audit suppliers to align with UN Sustainability Development Goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct quality inspections and audits to ensure high-quality products.
  • Analyse product quality data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Investigate defects and drive corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain technical files and quality records.
  • Audit suppliers to ensure they meet UN Sustainability Development Goals.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, or related technical field.
  • Commercial experience of progressive QA and quality control.
  • Excellent IT, literacy, numerical and analytical skills.
  • Confident, pro-active individual with good communication skills.
  • Proven record of managing people or desire to develop supervisory and managerial skills.
  • Familiar with TQMS, ISO 14001:2015 / 9001:2015, ESG, UN Sustainable Development Goals, environmental regulations, safety standards and supplier auditing.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Estimated salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum.
