At Glasdon Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Director to lead our QA team in implementing Total Quality Management initiatives and strategies throughout the supply chain.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with environmental and health & safety regulations, conducting quality inspections and audits, and analysing product quality data. They will also investigate defects and drive corrective actions, collaborate with stakeholders, maintain technical files and quality records, and audit suppliers to align with UN Sustainability Development Goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, or related technical field.
  • Commercial experience of progressive QA and quality control.
  • Excellent IT, literacy, numerical and analytical skills.
  • Confident, pro-active individual with good communication skills.
  • Proven record of managing people or desire to develop supervisory and managerial skills.
  • Familiar with TQMS, ISO 14001:2015 / 9001:2015, ESG, UN Sustainable Development Goals, environmental regulations, safety standards and supplier auditing.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
