Signet Resources is seeking a talented Community Engagement Specialist to join our team in Woking, working on a hybrid basis. This exciting opportunity will allow you to make a real difference in the social value industry and contribute to the success of our forward-thinking company.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of recognised frameworks, such as National TOMs, and be able to develop and execute social value strategies that align with our organisation's overall CSR and ESG objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing social value strategies alongside the operations team and stakeholders
  • Ensuring alignment with the organisation's overall CSR and ESG objectives
  • Establishing measurable goals for performance and monitoring progress
  • Working with sales and marketing to enhance offerings to new clients
  • Building relationships with local communities, government agencies, clients, and business partners
  • Attending events with clients and acting as the company's social value champion
  • Tracking, measuring, and reporting on the impact of initiatives using recognised frameworks
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
  • Leading on training and raising awareness of social value across the organisation and external partners

About You:

  • Familiarity with social value frameworks
  • Experience in social housing, construction, public sector, or FM considered
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for social value and community development
  • Full UK driving licence
