Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and diligent Conference Research Assistant to join our Editorial team at Westminster Forum Projects.

The successful candidate will have a solid background in policy, conference production, journalism, public affairs or similar fields, with exceptional written communication skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to our funding model and business practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and Development: Conduct thorough research on emerging trends, possible speakers and contacts across the policy landscape to brief.
  • Conference Organization: Help ensure conferences are up-to-date, relevant and inclusive, with no interested parties left out of discussing important developments.
  • Content Creation: Draft agendas, invitations to delegates and speakers, and text for our website.
  • Speaker Liaison: Liaise with speakers and Parliamentary chairs to ensure smooth conference operations.
  • Event Attendance: Attend and contribute to the smooth operation of our seminars and receptions.
