Site Maintenance Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Maintenance Officer to join our team at Kedleston Group Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the daily operation of the school site and the maintenance of the school grounds.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the school is kept clean and tidy
- Monitor and test building systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Undertake driving duties to assist with site logistics and visits
- Support the site teams at other Fernways schools as required
- Use the Group's Parago system to manage site maintenance and complete compliance checks
- Deal with emergencies such as snow, ice, minor flooding, and electrical and gas supply issues
- Act as an emergency first aider and provide training to staff
- Organise routine testing of fire, emergency lighting, and water systems
- Use cleaning and maintenance substances in line with COSHH requirements
- Experience in site maintenance and facilities management
- Ability to work independently and use own initiative
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
