About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Spacecraft Systems Engineer to join our team at D-Orbit. As a key member of our system engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and testing of our spacecraft systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of system architecture and subsystems design
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of specialists on system and subsystem design
  • Develop and manage system and subsystem budgets
  • Support stakeholder and mission requirements capturing and management
  • Interface with and support the Assembly, Integration, and Verification (AIV) team and related activities
  • Support the system test plan, procedures, and setup definition
  • Author technical documents
Requirements
  • Knowledge of System Engineering principles and system-level knowledge of all spacecraft subsystems
  • Knowledge of data bus architectures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work in a team
  • Experience in the use of Matlab and Python
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of Mission analysis tool (GMAT/orekit)
  • Working experience in space transportation and servicing applications
  • DOORS / Jama requirements experience
  • Knowledge of Linux
Education

University degree preferably in the fields of Aerospace/Space Engineering

Language

This role requires professional proficiency in English
