About Our Client:
Our client is a leading company in the construction industry based in Maldon, Essex. They are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Machinery Repair Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis.
Job Description:
You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of construction equipment, including diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs. This is a challenging role that requires sound knowledge of construction machinery and equipment, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair faults in construction equipment
- Lift heavy machinery and apply common sense to complex tasks
- Work collaboratively with the construction team to meet deadlines and customer demands
- Use computer software to diagnose and repair faults
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field (construction or agricultural industry)
- Sound knowledge of construction machinery and equipment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Full clean driver's licence
- Competent in the use of computers and software
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive salary: £45,000 per annum
- Company vehicle and mobile phone
- Overtime paid at time and a half on completion of 39 hours Monday to Friday
