About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Professional to join our client's team in Maldon, Essex. As a Construction Service Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of construction machinery, including diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs.
What You'll Do:
- Repair and maintain construction equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems
- Lift heavy machinery and apply common sense to complex tasks
- Work collaboratively with the construction team to meet deadlines and customer demands
- Use computer software to diagnose and repair faults
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in a related field (construction or agricultural industry)
- Sound knowledge of construction machinery and equipment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Full clean driver's licence
- Competent in the use of computers and software
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive salary: £40,000 per annum
- Company vehicle and mobile phone
- Overtime paid at time and a half on completion of 39 hours Monday to Friday
- 32 days annual leave including bank holidays
