Job Overview

Samuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced Automation Control Specialist to join their team in Shropshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing automation and control related systems, providing site support for PLCs, AC/DC drive systems & robots.

The role requires a skilled Service Technician who can diagnose faults at board level for major drive manufacturers, provide reactive site support on customer automation control applications, and possess good industrial networking experience – Ethernet, Profibus or Modbus.

The ideal candidate will have experience of drive control & automation in industries such as metal production & processing, printing, automotive or paper manufacturing etc. and first-class communication skills. Site work will be UK & Europe, with the opportunity to live in areas around Shropshire including Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Telford, Stafford, Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Codsall and Penkridge. In return, they will receive a competitive salary of £45-50k + vehicle + bonus + 25 days holiday = OTE £60-70k+, making it an attractive option for those looking for a challenging role.
