Job Overview
Advance is a national, not-for-profit provider of housing and support services for people with disabilities and mental health conditions. We're looking for a Support Worker in St Austell to join our team.

About the Role
We offer great benefits, flexible working and all the training and support you need to succeed in your role. You'll be supporting customers with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and mental health conditions to live the lives they choose. You must have a full UK driving license, access to your own vehicle and mileage will be paid at 0.45p per mile.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and hygiene (if required)
- Administer medication (if required)
- Support with preparing and cooking meals
- Attend medical appointments with customers
- Engage in social activities with customers
- Develop independent skills with customers
- Support with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry
- Keep accurate records and update care plans as needed

Requirements
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Literate and numerate in English
- Willingness to achieve the Care Certificate
