SEN Support Worker for Young Boy with Autism

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Worker to assist a 10-year-old boy with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) on alternate weekends.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 assistance and support to Jake, including personal care, self-help skills, activities, outings, meal preparation, and implementing therapy programmes.

You will also help Jake manage his expressive behaviours and develop self-regulation skills. The role requires confidence in documenting accurate information for Jake's care log.

As a Support Worker, you will work closely with Jake's case management team to receive regular training and supervision.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on Jake's life and support him in reaching his full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing 1:1 assistance and support to Jake, including personal care and self-help skills
  • Implementing therapy programmes and managing Jake's expressive behaviours
  • Documenting accurate information for Jake's care log and communicating with his case management team
Requirements
  • Experience supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Dedicated and strong communicator with a creative approach
  • Ability to drive and transport yourself

Estimated Salary: £304.00 Gross per Weekend, £152.00 Gross per Shift, £19.00 Gross per Hour
