Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Weights Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing weight distribution and ensuring the buoyancy and stability of our vessels. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities.
About the Role
This is a 12-month+ contract with 2 days per month spent on-site at Barrow-in-Furness. The hourly rate for this position is £31.60 PAYE or £41.70 Umbrella. You will work closely with our team to design and implement solutions that meet our clients' needs. If you have a passion for weights engineering and a desire to work on complex projects, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage weight distribution and ensure the buoyancy and stability of our vessels
- Work closely with our team to design and implement solutions that meet our clients' needs
- Collaborate with other engineers to develop and maintain project plans
- Develop and maintain accurate records of project progress and performance
