We are seeking a skilled Physiological Sciences Practitioner to join our Respiratory Physiology department at the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests and treatments in main hospitals and community hubs. You will also have excellent opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge through continuous professional development.

Main duties of the job:

  • The diagnostic tests and treatments carried out within the main hospitals and community hubs.
  • Performing unsupervised routine techniques within the lung function laboratory.
  • Ensuring data quality by undertaking equipment calibration and quality control for all tests performed within the laboratory.
  • Supporting senior staff in the supervision and training of junior staff.

Estimated salary: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum.
