The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of private family law matters, including divorce, financial remedy, cohabitation disputes, and Children Act matters. They will also provide expert advice on pre- and post-nuptial agreements, domestic abuse, and complex financial cases.

In addition to their technical expertise, the successful candidate will have excellent communication, negotiation, and client care skills. They will be proactive in business development and marketing, with a strong interest in growing the Family department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a full caseload of private family law matters
  • Providing expert advice on complex family law cases
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members
  • Contributing to the development and marketing of the Family department
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and other professionals

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' PQE in Family law
  • Proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is desirable
  • A proactive approach to business development and marketing
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client care skills
