About the Role:

This exciting opportunity has been made possible by funding from the National Lottery, and we are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to join our team at York Carers Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to secure the income needed to support unpaid carers in York.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, and community partners.
  • Research and identify new funding opportunities, including grants, trusts, and corporate partnerships.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and deliver fundraising campaigns, events, and appeals.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication to donors, supporters, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience in fundraising, preferably in a charity or non-profit setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for supporting unpaid carers and the work of York Carers Centre.
