Job Opportunity: Food and Beverage Team Leader
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Leader to join our team at The National Trust. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our cafe.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of staff to provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for visitors.
- Supervise the preparation and presentation of food and drinks, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage the cafe's inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize sales.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a hospitality or food service environment.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
