About the Role

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity? Do you have experience in merchandising planning and coordination? We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Planning Specialist to join our team at Zachary Daniels in London.

We offer a competitive salary of £32,000 + benefits and a comprehensive benefits package. As a Merchandise Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the Merchandising Team in achieving departmental sales, markdown, stock, intake, and profit plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop awareness of product areas through analysis of reports and store visits.
  • Book new products as directed.
  • Build strong relationships with the warehouse to ensure delivery issues and problem orders are minimal.
  • Perform cost and retail checks on orders booked into the warehouse in conjunction with the Assistant Merchandiser.
  • Update supplier order books and ETA report.
  • Reconcile supplier order books and communicate irregularities.
  • Action inter-branch transfers in conjunction with the Assistant Merchandiser.
  • Collate and check price amendments.
  • Average cost prices where required.
  • Action hit lists and rack lists as directed by the Merchandiser.
  • Chase free-stocks as directed.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and analysis for the team as required.

Qualifications:

  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Good Microsoft Excel and IT skills.
  • Understanding of distribution/allocation and merchandising.
  • Strong levels of communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Capable of working to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure.
