Job Title: Merchandising Coordinator

Salary: £32,000 + benefits

Zachary Daniels is a leading lifestyle brand experiencing record growth. Our merchandising function is evolving to support business strategies in the UK and internationally.

The role of a Merchandising Coordinator will be to support the Merchandising Team to achieve departmental sales, markdown, stock, intake and profit plans. This role offers a path for development and progression within a merchandising channel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse product areas through reports and store visits.
  • Book new products as directed by the team.
  • Built strong relationships with the warehouse to ensure delivery issues are minimal.
  • Conduct cost and retail checks on orders booked into the warehouse.
  • Update supplier order books and ETA reports.
  • Reconcile supplier order books and communicate irregularities.
  • Action inter-branch transfers as required.
  • Collate and check price amendments.
  • Average cost prices where needed.
  • Action hit list and rack list as directed.
  • Chase free-stocks as necessary.
  • Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis for the team.
  • Develop relationships with Store Leaders, Visual Merchandisers and central functions (Finance, Marketing etc).

Required Skills:

  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and IT systems.
  • Understanding of distribution/allocation and merchandising principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Dedicated and responsible approach to job role.
