Inventory and Collections Manager

HENI seeks an accomplished Inventory and Collections Manager to lead the development and implementation of our inventory management system.
About the Role:- Design and maintain a detailed inventory management system for artworks and related items, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date records.
- Conduct thorough research and catalogue new acquisitions, incorporating condition reports, provenance, and documentation.
- Regularly inspect storage facilities to ensure optimal environmental conditions and prevent damage.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement efficient logistics processes.
- Lead regular audits and condition assessments to maintain the integrity of the collection.
- Develop and implement preservation strategies and conservation measures to safeguard valuable assets.
- Provide training and guidance on best practices for handling and storage procedures.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in inventory and collections management or similar role.
- Demonstrated expertise in collection management software and best practices.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Estimated annual salary: £55,000 - £75,000 based on experience and qualifications.
