HMP Altcourse is seeking a seasoned Sustainability Manager to spearhead its sustainability efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing comprehensive sustainability strategies.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement the Sustainability Plan for HMP Altcourse, aligning with Government policies and Net Zero goals.
  2. Drive resource efficiency initiatives, including minimizing travel, reducing energy and water consumption, and meeting recycling targets.
  3. Collaborate with Sodexo subject matter experts and external partners to deliver cutting-edge sustainability solutions.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in sustainability, facilities management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability legislation, including Waste Regulations, Net Zero, and ISO 14001.
  • Experience with BREEAM accreditation, sustainable travel plans, and low-carbon energy technologies.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
