At Brunel University London, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursing Academic to join our team as a Lecturer Specialist Community Public Health Nursing. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality research-informed teaching, student support, and administration.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the design and delivery of innovative teaching methods that inspire students to learn. You will work closely with the team to ensure coherence of the programme and take responsibility for specific administrative duties such as admissions, examinations, assessments.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver effective teaching across a range of modules at UG and PG level, working with the team to ensure coherence of the programme.
- Develop appropriate methods and resources for teaching and learning support in relation to lectures, tutorials, practicals, and seminars.
- Supervise student projects and placements, providing pastoral care and monitoring student progress.
- Act as a responsible team member, leading where agreed, and develop productive working relationships with other members of staff.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced professional who can provide evidence of scholarship and contribution to competitive proposals for funding of education enhancement projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing blended learning approaches and using Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs).
The salary for this position is approximately £45,140 - £64,606 per annum, based on the location and job requirements.
