About the RoleWe're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Communications professional to lead our brand marketing efforts. As Head of Marketing Communications, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives business growth and enhances our brand reputation.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of our brand positioning, personality, and tone across key channels and customer experiences.
- Work with the team to implement the quarterly marketing planning process with key cross-functional stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Commercial & Marketing team to deliver the FY25 Marketing plan through cross-functional teams to effectively achieve business goals.
- Build the brand personality and tone of voice through the evolution of our social media strategies and leading integrated execution with PR.
- Lead acquisition through our local marketing channels, collaborating with Operations to deliver through teams up and down the country.
- Oversee the marketing budget for campaigns, local marketing, social media, and the internal studio.
- Lead the internal studio team by acting as brand guardian and ensuring efficient, effective creative delivery for the business.
- Lead the relationship with our key creative agency partners to ensure brilliant client/agency ways of working and quality of output.
- Lead, coach, and develop the MarComms team, developing personal development plans and creating a high-performing team.
- Sit in a range of cross-functional working groups to be the voice of brand and the consumer.
- Notable brand marketing/advertising, campaign experience client and/or agency side.
- Experience delivering integrated communications campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels.
- Good understanding of the UK agency landscape and a track record of delivering best-in-class client/agency ways of working.
- Track record in leading strategy and implementation across the full marketing mix, including social and PR.
- Experience at overseeing an in-house studio of multi-functional creatives (graphic design, video, animation).
- Creative with flair and imagination, has a passion for ideas and is comfortable reviewing and directing creative work.
- World-class people management skills, able to engage and successfully lead a high-performing team.
- Strong influencing skills with an ability to gain buy-in from multiple stakeholders and C-suite execs.
- Team player, naturally inclined to lean into the organisation around you in order to achieve your goals best.
