We are seeking a skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with patients who have complex communication and swallowing needs, providing expert assessment, treatment, and support.
Main Responsibilities- Provide specialist services to adults with communication and swallowing disorders, including those with tracheostomies.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
- Liaise with hospital and community therapy teams to ensure seamless care.
- Collect and analyze data to inform treatment decisions and improve patient outcomes.
- BSc or postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Registration with the Health Professions Council.
- Postgraduate training in communication disorders and aphasia therapy.
- Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
- Supervision course completion.
- Established experience working with adult acquired and neurological disorders in an acute setting.
