Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at the School for Inspiring Talents in Newton Abbott, Devon.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our in-house clinical team, providing therapy services to students with autism and neurodiverse needs, and contributing to staff training and consultation.

As a Clinical Lead, you will work collaboratively with our Senior Leadership Team and Clinical Locality Lead to deliver high-quality services and support the integration of our clinical team into the school's day-to-day operations.

You will be responsible for holding a therapy caseload, supervising team members, and contributing to service development. Your expertise and experience will enable you to make decisions and manage your workload effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead the in-house clinical team
  • Provide therapy services to students with autism and neurodiverse needs
  • Contribute to staff training and consultation
  • Supervise team members and provide coaching and mentoring
  • Develop and implement service development plans
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a recognized degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, or a related field, and valid professional registration with the relevant body (e.g., HCPC, RCOT, RCSLT). You should also have significant experience working with autistic individuals and those with complex needs.

A clear and concise report-writing ability, as well as experience in providing supervision and supporting a therapy team, are essential for this position.

You will need to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work dynamically within a growing and developing clinical service.

A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are required for this role.
