Special Needs Teacher Opportunity

Reeson Education is seeking an exceptional teacher to join a special needs school in Croydon. The role is full-time with the possibility of transferring to a permanent contract. The school focuses on providing highly specialized provisions for learners with autism, catering to students aged 4-19. The teaching approach is centered around the individual needs of each child. As the SEN Teacher, you will lead and teach a class of 7 pupils, with the support of 3 Teaching Assistants to assist with learning. The ideal candidate should have experience working with SEN pupils in a teaching environment and a strong passion for the progress of SEN school pupils. Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and teach a class of 7 pupils with the support of 3 Teaching Assistants
• Develop and implement individualized learning plans for each student
• Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure a smooth transition for students
