About the Role

Churchill Estates Management Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to oversee the management of our independent retirement housing developments in the Somerset & Wiltshire area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a first-class, cost-effective management service combined with exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations and achieves targeted profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of multiple independent retirement housing developments
  • Maintain customer relationships with external landlords and homeowners
  • Support and develop a team of Lodge Managers
  • Control expenditure and produce budgets and accounts for presentation to homeowners
  • Negotiate with contractors and oversee performance
  • Support team members' professional development through regular performance reviews and induction processes
  • Build internal relationships with support teams based at our Head Office

Requirements:

  • Proven working knowledge of property management and building structures
  • Recognised property management qualification with membership of RICS or IRPM
  • Experience of the leasehold retirement sector
  • Proven people management experience, ideally of a dispersed team
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • Full UK driving licence
