As a Senior HSE Manager, you will play a critical part in maintaining the safety and well-being of our colleagues at Valeo Foods UK. With your expertise in health, safety, and environmental management, you will help us create a safe working environment that meets the highest standards.

Job Purpose:

Your primary responsibility will be to support the deployment of our Health and Safety strategy, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. You will work closely with other departments to develop and implement effective risk management plans and ensure that all necessary training is provided to our colleagues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive health and safety plan, aligned with company objectives and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to provide occupational health services and support the development of a healthy workforce.
  • Work with the Learning and Development Department to design and deliver EHS training programs that meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Foster a positive safety culture by promoting open communication, transparency, and accountability throughout the organization.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a related field (e.g., Occupational Health, Safety Management, Environmental Science) or equivalent experience.
  • NEBOSH Diploma or higher qualification in Health and Safety.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior HSE role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous annual leave.
