Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in the food industry. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and providing technical support to the shift operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide front-line maintenance support to the shift operations team, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal production efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical repairs, to maintain production equipment.
  • Conduct regular Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and scheduled maintenance activities to identify and address potential issues.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives, driving efficiency and productivity gains.
  • Work closely with the production team to resolve technical issues and provide technical guidance as needed.
Requirements
  • Multi-skilled background with experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred, with a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Recognized apprenticeship to ONC/HNC level or equivalent.
