Teaching Role in Kent

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Social Sciences Teacher to join our team at Leigh Academy Hugh Christie. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about teaching and making a positive impact.

About the Role

This full-time position as a Social Sciences Teacher will commence in January 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Psychology, Sociology, Law, and Health & Social Care to students. The role requires a candidate with previous experience as a qualified teacher and the ability to adapt to diverse student needs.

Responsibilities

  1. Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse student needs
  2. Liaise with support staff regarding students who require additional support
  3. Monitor student progress and adjust targets as necessary
  4. Provide students with constructive feedback on their progress
  5. Ensure pupil safety within and outside the classroom

Salary and Benefits

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer flexible working arrangements.
