Strategic Business Development Lead

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced commercial leader to join our International Markets team. We are looking for someone with a strong track record of business development and strategic leadership to drive growth in the Advanced Materials sector.
The successful candidate will have full P&L responsibility for the Advanced Materials Division, including all commercial aspects such as market research, product development, pricing, and sales strategy. They will work closely with the Managing Director to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and expansion into new markets.
We are ideally looking for someone with a degree-level qualification in Science, Engineering or a technical discipline, with a proven track record of inspirational commercial leadership and strategic thinking. The appointee will demonstrate drive, tenacity, presence, and financial awareness, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business growth strategies for the Advanced Materials Division
- Lead commercial aspects of market research, product development, pricing, and sales strategy
- Collaborate with the Managing Director to drive business growth and expansion into new markets
- Manage a team of commercial professionals to deliver exceptional results
