Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Advanced Clinical Practitioner team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical team.

Main Responsibilities

As a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in a comprehensive training program to develop your skills and knowledge in advanced clinical practice
  • Working closely with our experienced clinical team to provide high-quality patient care
  • Developing and implementing complex programs of care in the acute and emergency care settings
  • Assessing, treating, referring, and discharging patients in your care
  • Providing supervision and support to junior staff and trainees
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Master's degree or equivalent experience, with associated professional registration
  • A Non-Medical Prescribing qualification or willingness to undertake
  • Immediate life support qualification
  • Extensive, relevant experience in Emergency Medicine or acute care, including experience in a senior role
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Evidence of teaching in a variety of settings
  • Advanced Clinical Assessment skills
