We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Head Housekeeper to join our team at De Vere Tortworth Court, a stunning 201-bedroom hotel in South Gloucestershire.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in hotels, preferably in a similar role and in a similar-sized property. They will be able to deliver a consistent level of service under pressure, with a keen eye for detail.

As the Deputy Head Housekeeper, you will work closely with the Executive Head Housekeeper to maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and guest service. You will lead by example, fostering a culture of warmth and belonging among your colleagues.

Your skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in hotels, ideally in a similar role and in a similar-sized property
  • Able to deliver a consistent level of service under pressure, with a keen eye for detail
  • IT literate and experienced with Opera and Fourth Hospitality systems
  • Aware of all relevant legislation, including health and safety at work, COSSHH, environmental health, and fire precautions
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues
  • Well-organised, with good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks

Salary: £26,500 per annum, plus live-in accommodation and excellent benefits.
