As a Health and Safety Wellbeing Manager at Thames Water, you will play a critical role in leading our Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Strategy across London. This is a 12-month contract opportunity that requires regular travel to various Thames Water locations in the London region, with occasional travel to other areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement corporate strategies for Health, Safety, and Wellbeing initiatives within the London region, working closely with the Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Leadership Team.
  • Manage corporate risks within London, ensuring compliance with Thames Water's standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Prepare and report performance data for London, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Lead a team of Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Advisors, ensuring they deliver high-quality performance and support.
  • Oversee incident reviews for significant safety reports within London, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Wellbeing standards.
  • Undertake various ad-hoc projects to support the Health, Safety, and Wellbeing function.
Requirements:
  • Passion for Health, Safety, and Wellbeing, with a commitment to leading by example.
  • NEBOSH Certificate or NVQ Level 3 as a minimum requirement; NEBOSH/NCRQ Diploma and Chartered IOSH membership are desirable.
  • Valid full UK driving license.

  • Competitive salary up to £70,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
