  • You’ll support our Group Health & Safety Manager ensuring our business remains compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • You’ll also ensure all data is accurate for legally required reporting, performance monitoring and measurement needs.
  • As the site Health & Safety Co-ordinator you will provide operational support in managing safety.
  • Working with our Shift Supervisors you will undertake daily safety walks.
  • Identify and record any hazards, escalating and taking appropriate action required.
  • Working with our Shift Supervisors you will provide accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly data
  • You will ensure periodic audits are scheduled to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • You will deliver site inductions to new starters.
  • You will support the HSEQ team in ensuring a Safety-First Culture is embedded, understood and delivered.
The ideal candidate for our Health & Safety Coordinator role:
  • You may already be working in a Health and Safety role or you maybe in a role where health and safety is large part of your remit and are keen to pursue this in your career.
  • Ideal industry sectors, waste management, recycling services, manufacturing, engineering, logistics or construction.
  • You’ll need good computer literacy with all Microsoft Office applications.
  • You will have great communication skills.
  • You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise deadlines.
  • You will have exceptional attention to detail
