Job Title: HVAC Training and Assessment Specialist

Educated Appointments in Cambridge is looking for an experienced HVAC Training and Assessment Specialist to join our Construction team.

Salary:

£35,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing training and assessment support to apprentices in the Building Services/Heating and Ventilation industry. This role involves working closely with the delivery and assessment team to ensure that apprentices acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for success in the industry.

  • Delivering 1:1 and group training sessions to students
  • Conducting assessments in the workplace and at college
  • Maintaining effective relationships with employers through regular communication
  • Coordinating the End Point Assessment process
  • Working collaboratively with the delivery team to achieve programme objectives

This role offers flexible working arrangements, allowing for visits to apprentices' workplaces and attendance at college. Some administrative tasks may be completed from home, subject to agreement with the line manager.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Significant experience in the Building Services/Heating and Ventilation industry, preferably at a senior level
  • Proven track record of delivering training and assessment programmes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with current Apprenticeship Standards and End Point Assessment requirements
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proficient in using a range of IT systems
