Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Fellow to join our Paediatric Hepatology team at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our department.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to further their career in paediatric medicine and gain valuable experience in a specialist setting. The role requires a strong background in paediatric medicine, with a minimum of 36 months' experience in the field. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate complex medical information effectively, build rapport with patients and colleagues, and work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

We offer a competitive salary of £44,036 - £77,519 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional development. Our comprehensive training program includes clinical audit, research projects, and participation in grand rounds, junior doctor seminars, and peer review sessions. We also provide ongoing support and mentorship to help our staff members achieve their goals and advance their careers.

Responsibilities:
  • To provide high-quality patient care as a Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Hepatology, working closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals.
  • To participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of our department's policies and procedures.
  • To engage in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in paediatric hepatology.
