Accounts Payable Support Specialist

Are you looking for a challenging opportunity to apply your skills in accounts payable? Stewarts, a leading family-owned business, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Assistant to support their Finance Team on a 6-month contract. With a strong presence in Dorset and Hampshire, the company operates multiple divisions, including Garden Centres, a Nursery, and a Landscaping division, with its central warehouse and Head Office in Christchurch.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Purchasing ledger processing, including invoice data entry, supplier statement reconciliation, and weekly reporting.
- Managing supplier accounts, setting up new ones, and maintaining existing details.
- Providing support to the Finance Team and covering tasks as needed.
- Experience in accounts payable, preferably with Xero Accounting.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £15.50, providing a stable income during your 6-month contract. This role offers a chance to gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of a well-established company.
