Stewarts, a leading family-owned business, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Assistant to support their Finance Team on a 6-month contract. With a strong presence in Dorset and Hampshire, the company operates multiple divisions, including Garden Centres, a Nursery, and a Landscaping division, with its central warehouse and Head Office in Christchurch.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Purchasing ledger processing, including invoice data entry, supplier statement reconciliation, and weekly reporting.
  2. Managing supplier accounts, setting up new ones, and maintaining existing details.
  3. Providing support to the Finance Team and covering tasks as needed.
What You'll Need
  • Experience in accounts payable, preferably with Xero Accounting.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £15.50, providing a stable income during your 6-month contract. This role offers a chance to gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of a well-established company.
