Accountancy Practice Administrator

Established in Bournemouth, an esteemed Accountancy Practice is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to work on an INTERIM or PERM basis. This Part time / Full Time opportunity offers the chance to join a family-run business with a strong focus on financial management.
The ideal candidate will possess experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in an accountancy practice, and demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software, particularly ESSENTIAL IRIS, is also essential.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and processing accounts payable and receivable. You will also reconcile bank statements, manage cash flow, and prepare financial statements and reports for clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Processing accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments.
- Reconciling bank statements and managing cash flow.
- Preparing financial statements and reports for clients.
Additionally, you will assist with payroll processing, ensure timely submission of payroll taxes, and collaborate with accountants to support audits and tax filings.
