About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Negotiator to join our team at Tamsin Wheatcroft Recruitment. As a Sales Negotiator, you will play a crucial role in achieving and exceeding team sales targets, upholding service standards, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend and contribute to daily morning meetings to discuss sales strategies and goals.
  • Work towards achieving office daily/weekly/monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets to drive sales growth.
  • Meet and greet visitors in a polite, friendly, and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Register applicants on property management software and databases, ensuring complete and accurate input of data.
  • Communicate with applicants to seek out opportunities for valuation and financial services appointments.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining accurate and up-to-date applicant registers, prioritizing HOT applicants and reviewing requirements regularly.
  • Carry out property matches on newly registered applicants and ensure property details are sent to applicants via email, text, or post.
  • Set review dates to communicate with applicants within 48 hours to obtain viewings and ensure a smooth sales process.
  • Arrange viewings with vendors or provide accompanied viewing services when necessary, ensuring a positive experience for all parties involved.
  • Communicate viewing feedback to vendors within 48 hours of viewing, providing valuable insights for future sales strategies.
  • Check-in keys for properties where accompanied viewings are to be carried out, ensuring a secure and efficient process.
  • Book valuation appointments via property management software, obtaining as much detail as possible to assist the valuer and promote other services prior to the appointment.
  • Advise the administration team of necessary updates to property details on property management software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Negotiate offers between applicants and vendors, taking advice from Sales Managers or Senior Negotiators as needed.
  • Keep accurate notes on property management software of all discussions with all parties throughout the sales negotiation process.
  • Qualify all sales with Sales Managers or Senior Negotiators before instructing sales and making 'Under Offer'.
  • Ensure all information about the sale transaction is complete before transferring details to the sales administration team to issue a memorandum of sale.
  • Attend relevant training sessions to develop knowledge of government legislation regarding estate agency, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Ensure all compliance procedures regarding Anti-Money Laundering (AML), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Estate Agents Act 1979, and Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 are being followed and recorded properly.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Proven experience in property sales or a related field, with a strong understanding of residential property laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Knowledge: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving: Resourceful in resolving issues and conflicts that may arise during property sales.
  • Technology: Proficiency in using property software and standard office applications.
