About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Team Leader to join our team at our Denton site in North Manchester. As an Electrical Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment, including troubleshooting, planned preventive maintenance, and hands-on work with specialist machinery.

You will work closely with the Engineering Planner to maximize the use of available resources, ensure that all necessary parts, tools, and materials are available for work tasks, and manage onsite engineering contractor activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating statutory electrical requirements, such as Inspection and Testing, Portable Appliance Testing, Fire Alarms, and Emergency Lighting.

As a Team Leader, you will also be responsible for maintaining a good standard of housekeeping throughout the workshops, carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, fault finding, and repairs to power and control systems, plant, and equipment. You will provide support and resources where needed for Project works, carry out inspections and audits, and provide advice, feedback, and support on both engineering quality and safety standards.

We are looking for an electrically biased engineer supervisor/team leader with experience working in a manufacturing/factory environment, with a minimum level 3 qualification in an Electrical Engineering discipline. You will have strong experience of health and safety best practice, be committed to safe working, and have strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
