Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Sonderwell. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered support to adults with a variety of disabilities, including physical and learning disabilities, mental health issues, acquired brain injuries, and sensory impairments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive assessment and person-centered support planning to identify individual needs and aspirations.
Assist with household tasks, including cooking, meal planning, housework, shopping, laundry, and budgeting.
Support with social care tasks, including benefit payments, money management, public transport training, and development of social and recreational activities.
Facilitate educational and vocational development, including support in adult education classes and supported employment placements.
Promote positive behavior development, including the reduction of self-harmful or socially inappropriate behaviors.
Manage medications, including supervision of self-administration and monitoring of beneficial and negative side-effects.
Requirements:
A full UK/EU driving license for insurance purposes.
Ability to drive a manual vehicle.
Willingness to undergo training and development to meet the needs of the role.
Passion for supporting vulnerable adults and promoting independence.
Self-motivated and able to work under pressure in challenging situations.
