Serco is seeking a highly skilled Neurodiversity Support Specialist to join our team at HMP Fosse Way. As a key member of our prison education and skills team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of neurodiversity support strategies across the prison.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a neurodiversity needs strategy for the prison, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure effective support for prisoners with neurodivergent needs.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Education, Skills and Work to ensure that education and skills provision is tailored to meet the needs of prisoners with neurodivergent needs.
  • Manage the collection and analysis of neurodivergent data to inform the development of effective support strategies.
  • Work with the Senior Management Team to implement and maintain systems and structures to ensure that education and skills provision is accessible and inclusive for all prisoners.
Requirements:
  • PGCE, Cert Ed or Level 5 in Education and Training.
  • Level 4 Certificate in Supporting the Learning of Learners with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)/Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
  • Alternatively, extensive relevant work experience of working with neurodiverse learners in a custodial setting.
