Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Fitter to join our team at Finning. As a Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to our customers, ensuring their equipment is running efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site technical support to customers, diagnosing and resolving equipment issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Utilize specialized equipment and software to identify and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our services and products.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Plant Fitter or Heavy Equipment Technician, with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of heavy earth moving equipment and LDV driving license.
  • Apprentice-trained engineer or formally trained with NVQ Level 3 preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
