Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Fitter to join our team at Finning International. As a Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services for our customers' heavy equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues with heavy equipment and machinery
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of equipment
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and requirements
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Apprentice-trained engineer or formally trained with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Experience working with heavy equipment and machinery, including heavy earth moving equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to work in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Valid LDV driving license
