Mathematics Department Leader

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our Mathematics department in delivering high-quality teaching and learning. As Head of Math, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to improve student outcomes, managing resources, and supporting staff within the department.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will engage with parents and the community to promote the importance of Maths education and contribute to the school's overall mission.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Maths department to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve student outcomes.
- Manage resources and budgets effectively.
- Support and mentor staff within the department.
- Engage with parents and the community to promote the importance of Maths education.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience in a leadership role within a Maths department.
- Strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
