The estimated salary range for this position is £31,067 - £34,314 per annum, plus a potential annual bonus of up to £3,000.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to join our Children's Residential Service as a full-time or part-time Residential Worker. This role involves caring for children and young people aged 8-17 with social and emotional needs, providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes their emotional health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing 24/7 care and support to children and young people
  • Assisting with daily routines, including meals, activities, and personal care
  • Encouraging and supporting children to participate in educational and therapeutic activities
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or incidents

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year's experience working with children and young people
  • Qualification in Working with Children and Young People or equivalent (support provided to obtain)
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and adaptability
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
