Job Title: Children Service Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children Service Lead to join our team at Prosperity Children.

As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading a team to provide a safe and supportive environment for children, promoting independence and life skills. You will ensure high standards of care and quality in line with the Children's Homes Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to run a warm and friendly home for vulnerable children and young people.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations and evidence high standards of care and quality.
  • Organise work patterns, facilitate training and access services to support childcare practices.
  • Lead by example, ensuring a therapeutic approach to meet children's needs.

Requirements:

  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People's Workforce or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience managing an Ofsted home with a good or above rating.
  • Experience working with children with challenging behaviors, mental health and behavioral problems.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Excellent knowledge of current legislations relevant to residential children's homes.
