Sharpsmart UK is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our Commercial team.

In this role, you will drive sales growth and develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers in the NHS and private healthcare sectors.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to effectively manage projects, and a proven track record of success in sales or business development.

The estimated salary range for this position is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

You will work collaboratively as part of a team on large-scale projects to implement our sharps services across your territory.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • To maximise product sales by utilising expert product knowledge and selling skills.
  • To engage with stakeholders to gather informed insights into clinical data and market trends.
  • To identify new business opportunities by investigating accounts and establishing relationships with relevant clinical and procurement stakeholders.
  • To manage your territory effectively, delivering strategic objectives into targeted accounts, and conducting impactful meetings and presentations.
  • To liaise with internal teams, including Field Service, Clinical Education, and Internal Sales, to meet targets.
  • To identify further upsell opportunities within healthcare waste management consultancy and clinical waste collection services.
